I’m an actuary in New York City. I’m interested in numbers, and in the strange fact that a human invention turns out to describe so much of a universe we didn’t design.
I love to read, and I write whenever I have something worth saying—which is rarer than I’d like.
I’m a huge fan of Camus, Hemingway, Murakami, Borges, and 김승옥. Outside of books and numbers, I’m a lifelong Red Devil, which has taught me more about suffering than Camus ever did. I’m also a huge NBA nerd (Basketball-Reference is probably my most frequented site on the net).
